Simon Dyson is on his way to an unexpected appearence at next weeks WGC Bridgestone in Akron Ohio after winning the Irish Open in Killarney. Dyson’s birdies on 16 more specifically on 17 were critical in a four under round of 67 for a 15 under total. Earlier in the day Dyson looked to have thrown away his chances of winning after three stabbing the 13th.
For Aussie Richard Green there was more heartbreak. He left his second shot from a perfect position in the fairway on the front of the green and three putted to miss out on a playoff with Dyson.
