Saint Anne Threatens “To Tell God On You” If You Keep Leaving Her Name Off Royal Lytham Title

Lytham, England

jacq Fighting back tears, a clearly upset Saint Anne urged people to remember her this week as the Open Championship takes place at Royal Lytham St. Annes.  Speaking through Christ’s representative on earth Raphael Jacquelin, Saint Anne described to journalists what it’s like to be a forgotten saint in the golf world.

“I hear people saying they cant wait to get to Lytham, then someone corrects them and says it’s Royal Lytham.  It’s actually Royal Lytham St. Annes, it’s my only golf course in Europe though I am in negotiations with Colin Montgomerie about naming rights for a new one in Dubai.  It just makes you feel like crap to be left out all the time.”

Saint Anne, formally of David's house and line, who was the mother of the Virgin Mary and grandmother of Jesus Christ went on to issue this threat to the assembled media.

“Dont make me go and tell God about this.  The last thing anybody wants in Lytham, damn I did it myself, this week is an apocalyptic display of Old Testament proportions from the old man because that’s just the kind of stuff he does when he get’s angry.  So pretty please with sugar on top call it ‘Royal Lytham St. Annes’ and nobody needs to get hurt.
