Callaway have been having a pretty shitty time lately. Xander Schauffele's driver failing a "legal face" test at The Open and Tony Covey of MyGolfSpy exposing its Chrome Soft golf ball as being very wonky indeed.

Covey and his fellow spies cut through several Chrome Soft balls only to find its core was off centre. Cue a veritable shitstorm on the forums from disenfranchised users.

In fairness to Cally they haven't denied the problem.  Quite the opposite in fact with one of the top bosses Alan Hocknell sitting down with the MyGolfSpy guys and subsequently promising a $50 million investment to ensure wonky balls don't end up on the shelves.

Here's the boys telling the story.
