3. Nike have been shamed and embarrassed by Lance Armstrong not to mention being hit financially. They will be looking to turn this into a positive news story with a young, clean living, wholesome superstar like Rory McIlory.
4. Rory’s manager Conor Ridge has already completed a carbon copy deal between Titleist and Nike with one of his other stars Ross Fisher. This should make negotiations easier.
