It's getting closer! Qualification for the 2016 Olympics golf tournament will wrap up on July 11th 2016 and there are several big names missing from the top 60 list.

The magic 60 is determined by an Olympic Golf Ranking list closely related to the world ranking and updated constantly on the IGF website.

The top 15 players in the world qualify except that no more than four players can come from any one country. That leaves world number 9 Jim Furyk and number 10 Jim Furyk out of the tournament, as things currently stand.

The rest of the field will be determined by the world golf rankings, with a maximum of two players per country for countries that don't have more than two players in the top-15.

There's currently no room for Lee Westwood as Justin Rose and Danny Willett make up Team GBR and Graeme McDowell has work to do to dislodge Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry if he wants to tee it up in Rio.

Here's the current top 60 correct as of Jan 4th.
