US Open Qualifier Michael Hebert signing his divorce papers filling his media bio sheet.

Awww how cool is this? Michael Hebert made it through US Open sectional qualifying yesterday and doesn't have to change nappies or listen to uncontrollable crying for the next two weeks.  Way to go Michael!

Webdotcom posted this on instagram.

Meanwhile Walton Heath hosted the home US Open qualifiers as always and, as always, saw a number of walkoffs from guys who knew they weren't going to qualify and gave up.  Most notable was Thomas Pieters, who left his playing partners and walked in after 10 holes of the second round.

The strangest walk off was Alexander Bjork who made it through to an 8 man playoff for one last spot but chose instead to leave to catch a flight home!!

Here's a tweet with the biggest qualifier scoreboards.

The biggest story of all was Shane Lowry co-topping qualifying in Ohio. Maybe the golfing Gods will smile on Shane this year after losing a four stroke lead in 2016 at Oakmont.

And finally.  Holly Sonders has a slip of the tongue during Fox coverage of Sectional Qualifying. Is that "Sexual Qualifying" Holly?? Ok so!!
