The Celadna course this week should really suit Peter Lawrie who seems to be right in form following his tied eighth finish at the Irish Open. Lawrie started the final round eight shots off the lead here last year but raced up the leaderboard with a 66. That got him into a playoff with Gary Boyd and Peter Hanson which Hanson won. With the champion not defending, the Dubliner must fancy his chances.

Gary Boyd 28/1

Gary missed the first five cuts in his rookie season in 2010 but rallied and had his best finish here at the Czech Open, losing a playoff. Consistency over four rounds is the key for Boyd, his 25th place in Ireland included a second round 64. Tied for second a few weeks back at the Italian Open. Can his 55th Tour event this week bring his first win?
bet now
Thorbjorn Olesen 30/1

In his 25 events on Tour to date Thorbjorn Olesen has had three second place finishes at the Alfred Dunhill, the Italian Open and the Open de France. Tied 15th last time out in Killarney. The young Dane is known to his friends as Jacob but changed his name to Thorbjorn as it was less common. Both might be on the trophy Sunday night.

Jeev Milka Singh 25/1

Anyone who has been in the presence of Jeev will know he is a very classy gent. His father Milkha Singh was an Olympic sprinter and Jeev has followed in his footsteps as a top sportsman becoming the first Indian to play on the European Tour. Seems to be the man in form having tied sixth in Sweden and tied 11th in Ireland.
bet now
Anthony Wall 25/1

It has been 11 years since Wall’s one and only European Tour win at the Alfred Dunhill but he remains one of the most consistent earners on the circuit. Those around him believe another win is not far away having come so very close in Sicily back in March. His fourth at the event last year just added to the £6 million he has banked in his 13 years on Tour.
bet now
Ignacio Garrido 40/1

Now a Tour veteran at 39, the Spaniard remains an excellent Touring professional. Both Ignacio and his dad Antonio have played on the European Ryder Cup Team. A real crowd favourite he tied for fifth at the Irish Open and has a bit of history on this course having come fourth in 2009. Ignacio always wears long sleeves on the course! His dad used to receive long and short sleeved shirts from his sponsors on Tour and gave Ignacio all the long sleeved ones he didn’t like.
