Speaking from his home in San Diego this morning, Phil Mickelson revealed he has been tasked with mentoring controversial Chinese player Xin-Jun Zhang ahead of his Web.com debut in January.  Zhang has been suspended from playing in his home country after multiple incidents of scorecard manipulation but deemed the best equipped Chinese golfer be given a Web.com card in the US for the 2015 season.
"Tim Finchem just phoned me up and asked me would I take Jim-Jam in for a few weeks over Christmas and I was delighted," Mickelson said smiling and nodding. "I usually take in up to half a dozen guys over the holiday period that are unfortunate enough to have fallen foul of the law at some stage in their lives, so me and Amy and the girls feel blessed to welcome Jim-Jam into our home. We usually feed them pizza and coke, cloth them, give them a proper religious education, absolve them of past sins and mould them into wonderful human beings.  And if that doesn't work, we bring them to Bones for electric shock treatment," Mickelson said, winking. "Either way, we fix 'em"
