Just days after Rory McIlroy was unveiled as the new face of EA Sports PGA Tour 2016, the world number one was said to be "unhappy and concerned" after rivals  Rockstar Games confirmed that  Patrick Reed will feature on the front cover of the hotly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI.

Developers say the game will feature a once criminal main character who has found God and is now hell bent on finding and making peace with a sports writer before he publishes a book about his sordid past.

“We’ve developed an all action gaming experience wherein players will be brought through a series of missions from breaking into college building to return stolen cash and putters, to making peace with and giving meaningful hugs to former wronged teammates.” Rockstar President Sam Houser said of the newest installment of the GTA series, noting that the main character will be travelling in a BMW courtesy car. “As the game develops, players will brought into a tougher mission, set in a whorehouse, where the main character has to save a drunk friend who has been hit with a rock by a bunch of crazy hookers who haven't been paid for sex."

GTA6 is set for release on the same day as PGA Tour '16.
