Wouldn't you think the NCAA would have a bit more common sense than to sanction Bryson DeChambeau and his teammates for something his former SMU college coach Josh Gregory may or may not have done?

Now the NCAA are left with an unholy mess after DeChambeau told them yesterday he is quitting college. The U.S. Amateur can't turn pro straight away however as doing so would mean he cant take up invites into the first three majors of 2016.

Bryson will most likely turn pro after the 2016 Masters.  I feel for him and his teammates; to have the rug essentially pulled  from their college days and thus depriving them of opportunity.  Pure stupidity on behalf of the NCAA.
