Some people might look at Shane Lowry and say "Oh it comes easy to him, he has a great swing." And yes he does.

But Shane is up to number 18 in the world and that didn't happen by accident.  It is thanks, in large part, to the extra work he is now doing on strength and conditioning with top coach Robbie Cannon.

Friends, who play regularly with Shane, have said the single greatest difference to his game is he's hitting the ball much further as a result of his gym work.

Here was Shane yesterday, in doing a strength session, the morning after his T2 at the British Masters.

So Brandel, you've had your say on Shane and see you have blocked me from seeing your tweets, but I hope someone shows you these pic. Might make you think next time.
