Charley Hoffman To Retire From Tarmac Game After Winning In Texas.
Charley Hoffman has announced on Twitter that he will no longer be involved the tarmac laying industry following his win at the Valero Texas Open.

Over the past 10 years Hoffman, who lives in a halting site just outside Las Vegas, had been making a steady income putting down tarmac in people's driveways in the evenings at PGA Tour stops all over America.

"I love the workin' but I have a few quid cash now, so I don't need to be at the tarmacin' anymore," Hoffman told Dottie Pepper after winning in dramatic style with an up and down birdie on 18.  "I'll still be sellin' ould gates and car batteries and if any of the lads need a good dunkey I'll still do a great deal on them too for cash boss," Hoffman added.
More as it emerges.
