Daniel Berger is recovering this morning after suffering a suspected broken nose Thursday evening at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational.

Berger had earlier withdrawn from the event after hitting his opening tee shot, citing a shoulder injury.

It is believed Berger's injured shoulder may have caused him to trip whilst attempting to push a wheelbarrow of cash containing his $50,500 earnings, from the tournament office to the car park, causing him to lunge forward and break his nose.

More as it emerges.
