Tiger Woods doesn't need Don King for his comeback next week.

Oh I'm sorry, it was actually Jesper Parnevik, not Don King who says Tiger's comeback at the Safeway Open might be spectacular. I was never one for details!

Expect lots of bumpf on Tiger's comeback over the next few days but Jesper's caught the eye.

In fairness to Parnevik you'd imagine he wouldn't be the kind of guy to make stuff up lauding Tiger; he wasn't his favourite person in the world for a long time there after the Elin business.

But back to golf and Parnevik told Golf Digest

"We talk and have played nine holes together. By the way, he's been hitting a lot of balls, and he's hitting it great. He's pounding it a mile and flushing everything. On the range, at least, his trajectory and ball flight are like the Tiger we knew 15 years ago. Comebacks are never a sure thing, but something tells me his might be spectacular."

Cannot wait to see Tiger now.
