What a day it was for Paul Dunne and the Irish at The British Masters.  His three shot victory sealed with a chip-in was magical stuff.

Fist is this fans view of the now famous chip in.

Here's the official video package.

Irish golf writing legend Brian Keogh filed his piece  on the victory in the IrishGolfDesk site.
“I feel like I've played pretty consistently all year, and I've given myself a few chances on Sunday to make a move and contend and haven't really been able to put the foot down. That was my focus today, to get off to a hot start, and once I got my nose in front to just keep pushing, because you never know what happens.

The official account of the victory on the new old European Tour site (thank God they fixed it) has plenty of video and quotes from Rory McIlroy who came from nowhere after round one to finish second.

"Incredible, to shoot 61 to win his first Tour event, it's incredibly impressive. I'm happy for him as well. He works hard on his game. Every time I'm out practising or on the putting green, the chipping green, he's always there and he's always working hard. So it's very well deserved."

Ruairdhi Croke in the Irish Times remembers back to the 2015 Open Championship when Dunne shot to fame and came so close.

At the Open Championship in St Andrews the world is sitting up and taking notice of a 22-year-old Irish amateur from Greystones. His name is Paul Dunne and he is making history in becoming the first amateur to lead going into the final round of the oldest championship in golf since 1927.
It is the first that most people have heard of the talented young player with a silky smooth short game and a putting stroke destined to bring success.

The Irish Independant had lot of reaction from within social media as well as the video of Shane Lowry giving Dunners a big bear hug!
