Christmas is a great time for nostalgia and I came across this video of Seve today, shared on facebook by one of the finest club professionals in Irish golf David Keating, and was fascinated by it.

Seve goes through his warm up routine on the practice ground
You can watch highlight reels of Seve Ballesteros  winning three Opens and two Masters until the cows come home but there's something just mesmerising about watching 7 minutes of him just striking balls and going through his warm up on the practice ground in Wentworth.

The year was 1991, the tournament was the Volvo PGA Championship where the then 34 year old Spaniard would go on to beat Colin Montgomerie in a playoff.  Seve then won the Dunhill British Masters a month later and five more times in an illustrious career.
