The PGA Tour's 2019 Rookie Of The Year Sungjae Im secured his maiden win at the Honda Classic producing seat of the pants shot after shot in an absolute cracker.
Im produced seven final round birdies to bring his total birdie count since 2019 to 714 birdies, that's 149 more than anyone else on the PGA Tour!  His 66 was good enough for a one shot win over playing partner Mackenzie Hughes.
As ever PGA National proved one of the toughest tracks on Tour with its brutally tough "Bear Trap" on 15, 16 and 17 but it was to be the par-5 18th that ultimately claimed a surging Tommy Fleetwood whose wait for a first PGA Tour win goes on.  His massive birdie putt on 17 pulled him within one of Im, but going for the green on the final hole he found the water with his 235-yard approach and ended in third.
To the 21 year old South Korean who plays pretty much every week on Tour goes a cheque for $1.26 million and and an ascension to 25th in the World Golf Rankings.
