Apologies for getting a bit excited earlier. Turns out the European Tour made a bit of a cock up on the scoring and mistakenly proclaimed David Higgins as having had a 61.That was later the corrected to a 65 on the Tour course at PGA Catalunya, to leave him tied for fourth after the first round of Q School.
The leader after round one is England's Sam Hutsby who carded an incredible ten under par 60. Interestingly the top 10 players on the leaderboard were playing the easier Tour course.
Tour School is played over six gruelling rounds.
