We always knew Phil Mickelson was a dedicated family man but the news that he intends to skip his two favourite events of the year in order to be with his kids might just signal the beginning of the end of the great man's career.
Lefty announced yesterday that he wont be attending the marquee West Coast swing tournaments, the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and the Northern Trust Open at Riviera.
“These are two of my favorite events,” Mickelson said yesterday. “But with the kids in two schools with two different spring breaks, I’ll take that time off. They’ve accommodated my schedule enough over the years. It’s time for me to accommodate theirs.”
