All eyes will be on the 2015 WGC Cadillac Championship this week but here's who I fancy for the second tier 2015 Puerto Rico Open on the PGA Tour.

Peter Uihlein 20/1

Really solid looking with top 20’s in Dubai and Malaysia but was forced to withdraw last time out in Thailand.  Has finished under par in 13 of his 14 events and for me looks the class in the field. T6 last time he played the event in 2013.

Jeff Overton 22/1

I’ve been watching Jeff since the end of last season and he had been super solid before missing consecutive cuts in Phoenix and Riviera.  Bounced back brilliantly with a T7 at The Honda and will be super psyched at the prospect of contending again while the gig guys are away.  Jeff withdrew here in 2013, but was T14 in 2012, T15 in 2010 and solo 8th in 2009.

Brendon De Jonge 16/1

Three top 15’s at the Puerto Rico Open since 2010 for Brendon, including a T3 in 2010.  Very solid recently at The Farmers, Phoenix and last week at The Honda (T25)

Boo Weekley 18/1

Definitely due a win this season after coming so close at The Sanderson Farms event in November and starting 2015 with a good T7 at The Humana.  Missed the cut last week at The Honda and debuts in Puerto Rico.

Robert Karlsson 40/1

Still one of my favourite players, Robert also played this event last season and was T14.  First start since a fruitless visit to Malaysia. Showed at the European Tour Championship (T6) he’s still full of class.
