Update 7th April 2015
The 2015 Masters Draw has been made. Click here to view on the official site.

If the US Masters organizing committee do not pair Rory McIlroy with Tiger Woods for the opening rounds of this years tournament they will potentially miss what could be watershed moment in golf history.

It's sad to even think it, but given the dramatic slide in Tiger Woods' form of late, this could possibly be the last great opportunity to pair the two greats together in a Major setting. Tiger is too proud a man to continue to put himself in the firing line of Major championships if his game is not in a position to contend; this years Masters being an exception.

Of course there will be great barriers to this pairing be made. Organizers will want Woods and McIlroy on either side of the draw to control the crowds and to optimize TV rating figures. Most likely the two men will not fancy being paired either. McIlroy will want a competitive group of form players and team Woods will no doubt be angling for a lower key draw to put him more at ease on the course.

That being said, there exists an opportunity here. An opportunity that might never come about again.

The draw will be available tomorrow (Tuesday) here
