Poor old Henrik Stenson carded a 73 in his first round at the Masters but was about to withdraw with bronchitis just before the start.

The lung problem following a flu last week has left the Swede weak." It was like being down for the count and pulling myself up first following smelling salts on the count of nine," Stenson told Svensk Golf. "I have consulted my doctor. The warmth and humidity soaked up all energy that was left already during the pre-round practice," he added.

Stenson will make a decision later whether he can play his second round.
