On Monday I will reveal my Top Five 2015 Open Championship betting tips in blog post and video form but here as a little taster is a preview of some European Tour players at long odds who are well worth an each way bet at Saint Andrews.

Long Odds European Tour Players To Watch The 2015 Open Championship

Bernd Wiesberger  60/1

The big Austrian may have nothing to show for his three Opens so far but this time he enters on the back of some great results.  Bernd made it into a playoff on the hugely difficult Royal County Down at the Irish Open, then cruised to victory last time out on the linksy Paris National.  Hits it long enough to carry all the trouble at St. Andrews. T14 and T12 at the last two Alfred Dunhill Links (ALD)Championships.

Tommy Fleetwood 70/1

Tommy Fleetwood can go as far as he wants in golf. I see his future record showing several Tour wins, Ryder Cup appearances and just maybe a Major. T6 in Wentworth, T21 in Ireland, T27 in Chambers Bay, T11 in Germany and at time of posting going well in Scotland. Three top fives too from four starts at the ALD including at T2 in 2014.

Danny Willett 80/1

The Nedbank winner is out at 80/1 after missing cuts at the US Open and French, I still think Danny has now developed into a top player who can contend on the biggest stages.  I was hugely impressed with his T6 in Ireland.  Solo 2nd in the 2011 ALD and T5 in 2012. Fourth Open appearence; T15 in 2013.

Miguel Angel Jimenez 150/1

Ridiculous and slightly disrespectful odds for one of the greatest ever European Tourists.  T2 at the Open de Espana and at the Tour's flagship event in Wentworth. If Tom Watson can almost win at Turnberry in 2009 then Miguel can do it here. Top 30 in five of his last six Opens and showing good form in Scotland.

Thomas Aiken 250/1

Hugely efficient South African who is a super each way bet at 250/1.  On a cut streak of nine tournaments and T25 at the US Open. In his 15 main Tour starts this year Thomas has been in the top-10 in driving accuracy an incredible 10 times and in the top-10 greens in regulation nine times. Four top-30's at the ALD and two top-10's at The Open. This year could be his best.

George Coetzee 150/1

Not great form of late but St Andrews should suit Georgie. Decent Open record of 15th in 2011 and 18th in 2014.  Best of T5 at the ALD in 2012.  Huge hitter like Bernd who can fly the pot bunkers. And a fighter.
