2015 Porsche European Open Betting Preview And Tips

Porsche European Open, Golf Resort Bad Griesbach,Germany 24 Sep 2015 - 27 Sep 2015

Doc’s Top Five To Watch at The 2015 Porsche European Open

David Lipsky 66/1

Cannot believe my eyes that Lipsy is 66/1 in the betting.  I would have him 20/1 maybe?  Four top 25’s in his last four starts including a fine T3 last week in Italy.  But more importantly the American is the best putter over the last two tournaments combined.  Andrea Pavan got it to 19 under to win on this course on the Challenge Tour, so holing EVERYTHING will be key.  Get on Lipsky.

Bernd Wiesberger 14/1

Let’s just say Bernd gently found his feet on the European Tour again last week at the Italian Open.  It was the Open De France champion’s first start since Whistling Straits (MC) and a T25 at the WGC Bridgestone Stateside.  Finished with a 72 on Sunday and knows he should have done better with a tally of -13 on just the par-5’s.  If he is in the mood, watch out!

Byeong Hun An 28/1

Shhhh not many will know this but Ben scored a nice little win at the 31st Shinhan Donghae Open at home in Korea last Sunday, beating Seung Yul Noh by a shot.  We last saw An at The Wyndham where he acquitted himself very nicely thank you very much with a T18 finish.  Knows this course from the Challenge Tour in 2013 when he finished T12.  I think the BMW PGA Champ will be right up there this week.

Fabrizio Zanotti 33/1

Good honest hard working Fabrizio is having a great end to his season and even managed to avoid getting hit on the head with the ball last week in Italy on his way to a T3 finish.  Like in Holland where was solo 4th, Italy saw more very solid iron play from the Paraguayan, where he led the field in Greens In Regulation.  Will have happy memories of Germany too, having won 150 km down the road in Munich last year.

Lucas Bjerregard 125/1

A great T3 in Italy saw the Dane jump from the frying pan level in the Race To Dubai to 98th and he knows another decent week here will all but secure his playing rights for next season.  Fourth in driving accuracy and T9 in greens hit last week points to a game that can go anywhere and contend.  Like Ben An, also played Challenge Tour here in 2013.  Confidence is high and we all know the difference that makes.
