It's all everyone has been talking about at the Honda Classic. Rory McIlroy arrived at Palm Beach Gardens a few hours ago and went straight onto the course for a practice round with his brand new Nike putter.

Engineers at Nike's 'Oven' are said to have worked all weekend on the new model after McIlroy asked for a little more weight to be placed in the clubhead.  The Northern Irishman had complained his old putter, the Nike Method B201, 'felt a little light' in his hands at Riviera after several weeks lifting heavy weights in the gym.

"We've increased the weight in the head from 348 grams to 60 kilos," said Nike's chief putter designer Chip Chazinski. "We are calling it the Nike Method SasSquat 60 Putter. We are really super excited about it."

Here's the first spy photo taken out on the course just a few moments ago.

More as it emerges.
