I took a trip over to the clubhouse at the K Club during the Irish Open and in the space of five minutes saw more action that over the last three days combined.

Downstairs I met carpenter, craftsman and sometimes Tour caddie Big Dave McNally who had players queueing to collect their customised leather Big Dave Design scorecard holders.  He handcrafts them for the players from German leather using a 100 year old sewing machine.  Pretty much every top player in the world carries one of Dave's creations, except for Jason Day; and he is getting his Aussie coloured one next week!

Here's Rams fan Niall Horan picking up his custom creation from big Dave. See what I mean about BIG! Check out Dave's other stuff on his facebook page here

Dave also fashioned up this wooden block to commemorate Shane Lowry's recent hole in one at Sawgrass.  It goes to charity auction for Pieta House by Danny O'Carroll on Friday. You can bid on Danny's Twitter page here.

While having a coffee I spotted a guy shyly peeking in the door to watch the TV screen. After a quick double take I realised it was Wang Jeunhun watching himself win (for the second time in a row) in Mauritius. I couldn't let the opportunity slip and ordered him in for this pic!

Caught smiling to himself, I got Wang in to celebrate properly.
