With just days to go before Darren Clarke announces his Captain's picks for the 2016 Ryder Cup, Ian Poulter has declared that he is ready to carry Team Europe on his back again one more time in case anyone was wondering.

Ian Poulter says he's been doing a bit of practice in the evenings after work.
Poulter, speaking from outside the gates of the European Tour headquarters in Surrey, shouted his willingness to single handedly retain the trophy one more time for Europe.

"I suppose if I have to I'll do it," shouted Poulter into a megaphone. "For God's sakes don't pick Russell Knox, he wont do the slow motion fist pump thing that pisses the Americans off" the world number 99 roared as the Tour's CEO Keith Pelley sped into the compound. "I've seen more character in a dead goldfish."

The four time Ryder Cup winner then ripped off his shirt to reveal a large ‘Mr. Europe’ tattoo on his chest depicting Poulter standing with his knee on the slain bodies of Chris Riley, Steve Stricker, Matt Kuchar and Webb Simpson.

Poulter says he doesn't really want to, but supposes he will camp outside the gate for a few more days, for the sake of Europe in case anyone cares.
