Two days after the arrest of amnesia suffer and PGA Tour golfer Robert Allenby outside an Illinois niteclub details are emerging as to the reason.

Rock Island police department say the 45-year-old Australian was arrested while "attempting to enter a restricted area while suspected of being under the influence of alcohol" outside Jumer's Casino in Rock Island at about 2.45am Saturday morning.

Following his arrest Allenby was officially charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing, and was released after posting a bond of $1,500.

"I don’t know anything that’s going on, so you can say whatever you want," Allenby told a reporter.
There’s nothing to be said or done about. Nothing happened. I have no idea, mate. No idea.’’

Thankfully the Rock Island police department say they filmed the whole incident on a GoPro video camera and would be happy to help jog Mr Allenby's memory as soon as he sobers up.
