Thomas Pieters: Head and shoulders above everyone right now!

Thomas Pieters heads the betting at 13/2 this week after winning so impressively in Denmark recently.  Let’s hope he can hold his form heading into next week’s Ryder Cup.  Our odds this week are from William Hill; make sure to check out the updated odds and online golf betting made easier at William Hill.

Doc’s Top Five European Open Best Bets

Scott Hend 20/1

Hendo: hits it a mile.

Big hitting Hendo is back in form after a solo second in Switzerland and T4 at the KLM Open last time out.  The 43 year old Aussie knocked it out there 319.4 yards off the tee in Holland and if he keep up that silky touch on the greens he looks a good each way bet here.  Solo fourth on this course in 2015.

David Horsey 45/1

David Horsey: Likes sugar lumps and the odd carrott.

Missed the cut here last year but I’m fully expecting a better result this time around from David Horsey.  He has putted his way to a T4 at the KLM Open and T5 in Italy and with four Tour wins, knows how to reach out and grab it when his game is on.

Tommy Fleetwood 33/1

Tommy Fleetwood: The Who?
We tipped Tommy last week in Italy as our long odds glory tip from 75/1 and in fairness he gave us a super run for our money with a T7 finish.  Again his irons were great; he topped the GIR stats and combined with a T10 at the KLM Open and T16 in the Czech Republic is on an upward trend.  Missed the cut here last year but on this form Tommy will be right in the mix this time around.

Rikard Karlberg 35/1

Rikard Karlberg: Comfortable with his sexuality
Brought the family on Tour and had a lot of media obligations to contend with as defending champion in Italy last week and a T12 finish from Rikard was very impressive given all that.  That’s four top-20 finishes in his last five and shackle free the Swede can have a tilt this week.  Putted brilliantly for a T5 here in 2015.

Alex Levy 40/1

Alex Levy: Crazy frog.
Like all good Frenchman you never know what you’re going to get from Alex but last weeks T7 in Italy represented a big jump in form and when the confidence starts flowing there’s no stopping this kid.  It wasn’t just the finish that impressed me there but how Alex excelled across all the major stats. When I see that, alarm bells go off!

Longs Odds Glory

Chris Paisley. Overpriced.

Chris Paisley is quoted at 100/1 after a T3 in Italy last week?  That’s a no brainer!
