Jordan Spieth heads into the final round of The Open the 1/4 favourite to take the title.  He has a three shot lead from Matt Kuchar 5/1 and six shot advantage over the rest of the field at 5 under and below.

Brooks Koepka is one of those at five under. He's at 25/1.  Austin Connolly, also at -5 can be got at 100/1!

Procession for Spieth today at The Open?
But if you are looking for a good bet for the final round I suggest checking the "To finish in the top five" market with your bookie to find some value.

Two good looking bets to me are Sergio Garcia and Jason Day at 13/1 to finish in the top five.  Sergio is even par and has gone on a good progression of 73, 69, 68 through three rounds.  He has the experience to know when be safe and when to throw caution to the wind.  And speaking of wind, Garcia can handle it if it blows.

Also on level par is Jason Day who has gone 69, 75, 65 and will go under the radar. He carded a bogey free third round of 65 needing just 27 putts on Saturday.

I'm still hoping for a place position for my original betting tips.

Fingers crossed!!
