It was unthinkable just a few short weeks ago, but now Tiger Woods is officially the bookmakers favourite to win the 2018 Masters.

Across the bookmakers, Woods just shades Dustin Johnson at average odds of 8/1 and is joint favourite with DJ on the PaddyPower betting website.

As always the bookies motivation behind the installation of Woods as favourite is questionable but strong of body and mind, putting well, swinging hard and and after a T2 last week at The Valspar followed by a strong start at Bay Hill is does seem logical.

Woods last played the Masters, literally off the sofa and injured, in 2015 and remarkably sat in a tie for fifth after three rounds before finishing T17.

He last won a Green Jacket in 2005.

Are we about to see a miracle happen?  The bookies think so. And they are rarely wrong.
