Writing in the Heraldscotland Nick Rodger said
The battalion of scribblers joined up just off the practice putting green in an impressive pincer movement as Phil ambled off it but having been asked for a quick blether, the 2013 champion responded with a handshake, a smile and said: “Think I’ll pass on that.” It was one of the more polite “sod offs” we’ve had.

Phil is not due to give a press conference at any point this week either and Gaurdian golf writer James Corrigan kicked off a torrent of ill sentiment on Twitter.

Mickelson was involved in yet another rules incident at the Greenbrier, being assessed a two shot penalty for improving his lie.

Lets hope Leftie gets it right in the next fornight.
