This is as brilliant as it is pathetic and shows up both the PGA Tour's attitude to Patrick Reed and why the Patrick Reed gets his attitude to begin with.

The story begins with Reed looking to bring to his wife and sister in law to a Boston Redsox baseball game in Fenway Park before the Dell Technologies starts on Friday.

'No problem' says the PGA Tour giving the three of them free tickets.

The Reed party duly go to the game but discover that the tickets they are given are of the shitty variety in "the line drive" section.

Patrick is not happy and seeks an upgrade to a better section which ends up costing him $650.

To add insult to his already injured pride, when Reed and co get to the cool section, who's there already only two other PGA Tour players, who were given the tickets for FREE!!

So he takes to Instagram to highlight the injustice.

Thank you @pgatour for the tickets to the @RedSox game tonight. I love how you put my wife, sister in law and myself in the line drive section. We paid $650 to upgrade our seats and ended up in the same section as the rest of the @PGATOUR! #frontrow

Oh dear oh dear Pat, the plight of the Rohingya Muslims or the non-reporting of 3,000 Puerto Rican Hurricane victims have nothing on you.
