Justin Thomas starts around 2.5/1, a price I've never seen before for a golf tournament.  That's after his runaway win last week which sees him start the Tour Championship on -10. Can he be caught? With three top-7 finishes at East Lake from three tries it doesn't look likely.

Doc's Top 3 Best Each Way Bets

Jon Rahm (-4) 14/1

There's only 30 in the field, no cut this week and a pre tournament virtual leaderboard which sees him start six shots behind JT, but if you're looking for an each way banker this week it has to be Rahmbo.  Since winning in Ireland he has gone T11 at The Open, T7 at the St Jude, T3 at the Northern Trust and T5 at the BMW. IF he gets the measure of the greens early Rahm can do this.

Tony Finau (-3) 40/1

Fourth at the BMW Championship and what an exhibition of blunt force trauma Finau put on.  Four rounds in the 60's at Medinah included an average driving clip of 328 yards and a field leading 59 greens in regulation.  Starts seven shots back but overpriced each way at 40/1.

Webb Simpson (-4) 30/1

Possibly under the radar but still within striking distance this week is Webb Simpson.  He comes in with three runner up finishes in his last seven starts (Wyndham, St Jude, Canada) and knows how to manage his ball around East Lake. Has three top-5 finishes from six appearances at the Tour Championship.

Long Odds Glory Shot

Kevin Kisner (-2) 125/1

Too far back to win most probably but played super last week at the BMW Championship and finished T3 last time he made the Tour Championship in 2017.
