With the seven month wrist injury of 2018 now firmly in the past Bernd Wiesberger secured the Italian Open at the weekend and in doing so became a three time winner on the European Tour of the 2019 season.

How He Did It

Using a Titleist TS3 driver Wiesberger hit 36 fairways on the fantastic Olgiata layout, T7 in the accuracy stats and averaging 296.9 yards.  That set up 51 greens found in regulation (T23 in the field) with his blend of Titleist 718 MB and CB irons.  Key for the Austrian though was his Scotty Cameron Futura T5W Tour Prototype putter which converted 21 birdies versus just five bogeys for the week in a total of 106 putts, third in the stats.
