Former Open Champion Darren Clarke has taken another major step forward in his new career as one of the world's strongest men by setting a new world record in Truck Pulling today.

In front of a packed main street in downtown Kuala Lumpur Clarke eased a 54,000 kg truck down the 100ft course in 23.84 seconds beating Australian strongman Derek Boyer's previous record set in 2011. Officials from Guinness World Records were on hand to verify the attempt.
