Up to four million adoring Argentinians lined the streets of Cordoba yesterday to wish their hero Angel Cabrera well as he set off on his annual trip to Augusta National.

"Go Pato, go Pato" the crowd chanted as Cabrera lifted himself slowly out of his rusty chair out the front of Lionel's Cafe where he sits 51 weeks of the year smoking cigars, drinking tiny cups of coffee and slobbering on greasy steaks.

"Somebody go get me my clubs" shouted Cabrera with his arms outstretched as if to embrace the rapturous roars from the millions in attendance.

Waving an Argentinian flag Cabrera set off on the 6,000 mile trek that will take him from Cordoba, through Bolivia, Brazil and Venezuala before crossing the Caribbean Sea to Cuba and on to Florida then Georgia. He was flanked by his backroom team of 60 stunning brunettes of cooks, masseuses, and mistresses.

They are due to arrive in Augusta National in 10 days time.
