I came across this chart of Rors 62 in Quail Hollow up from Geoff Shak via J Held on twitter and it shows the massive advantage he has on big tracks.  

Bearing in mind the PGA Tour set up the course to 7,500, Rory hit 9-iron or less into 15 of the 18 holes.

Better still, check out the distances of his 11 birds: 8' 2' 6' 4' 7' 13' 5' 8' 3' 10' 14'. Not one over 15 feet!

A big proportion of PGA Tour players hit it long; Rors hits it long and straight.
