Rory McIlroy now on the "worried" list about Zika at Olympics
There are no two ways about it; the Olympic golf tournament at the Rio Olympics is teetering on the brink of falling apart.  There are many reasons but chief among them now are players fears of contracting the Zika virus. Singh, Leishman, Scott, Oosthuizen and Schwartzel  are already out and more announcements are expected.

Most worrying of whom is Rory McIlroy who spoke about the problem yesterday. Depending on how you read this, it could be construed as sewing the seeds for a possible withdrawal.

“As it gets closer, I am relishing the thought of going down there and competing for gold,” McIlroy told the BBC. “But I have been reading a lot of reports about Zika and there have been some articles coming out saying that it might be worse than they are saying. I have to monitor that situation.
“I am actually going to get my injections on Wednesday. At least I will be immunised for whatever … if I do get bitten by a mosquito down there.”

Lets hope we see Rory win gold in Rio for Ireland but alarm bells are ringing with that language.
