Shane Lowry will trade in his regular shirt sponsor for a new crest at the Irish Open thanks in large part to Star Wars.

Shane Lowry will use the Ballyliffin force this week at The Irish Open.
To raise awareness GCD helped Ballyliffin Golf Club in Donegal Ireland became a Star Wars props airport for a day, with episode VII filming just down the road in Malin Head.  The imaginative stunt went viral, and resulted in them winning a Bank Of Ireland contest on Twitter for which the prize was to wear the club logo during the Irish Open.

Here's a video of Shane accepting his new shirt posted on the North and West Coast Links facebook page.
