Spent today at the 2015 PGA Show Demo Day in Orange County National Golf Centre in Florida.  It's basically the one day in the year that the great and the good of the golf equipment design world assemble in one place with their new product and a chance for me in my capacity as equipment reviewer for Golfbidder, to get face time with them.

Equipment aside, Bubba Watson was there putting on an exhibition of shot making, Dave Pelz was in another corner, Blair O'Neal was turning heads at the Cobra stand, and long drivers like Jamie Sadlowski and Mike Dobbyn were doing their thing.

We however hadn't time to scratch ourselves. We started our interviews at 8.45am this morning and finished up at 3.15pm. Job well done, now it's beer time!

Here's some snaps from the day.

First up here's big Luke Williams from Callaway. Dont drink beer with Luke, it's like throwing water on sawdust!

This is Marty "Jerytbird" Jertson, the man behind Ping's turbulators on their Ping G30.  I took the piss out of them when they came out in a photoshopped picture, Marty told me they now have that picture on the wall at Ping!

This is Jon Pergande from Wilson. It has been a tough time for the company but their forged FG Tour irons are up there with the best.

Newbie Michael Fox from Adams chatted about the new Tight Lies offerings.

The boss man at Cobra is Tom Olsavsky. Super guy and serious hardware.

Tony Dabbs has been our man in Nike for about six years and it's great to see him really now enjoying the glory with Rory McIlroy in the stable.

Brett Porath from Titleist is one of our favourite guys to talk to at Demo Day. Softly spoken, makes the technical stuff simple and is real pro. Brett made a great little on how to set up your 915 perfectly.

Demo Day wouldn't be the same without our annual chat to Brian Bazzell from TaylorMade.  They got a bad rap for having too many product releases last year, but when it comes to innovation, TM lead. By miles.

And finally the nicest guy on the planet, Chris Voshall from Mizuno.  Seriously Chris is going straight to Heaven some day.  We missed our appointment with him and he thanked us!
