What a bummer. Paul McGinley was only in San Francisco 90 minutes and had his luggage, golf clubs, travel documents and passport stolen. Possibly worse still, the felon also took Ryder Cup memorabilia that was destined for charity auction.

McGinners who is in town for the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on the Monterrey Peninsula had left his belongings in his rented SUV to have a walk with a friend on Ocean Beach. When they returned, the car had been robbed.

“I had only been in the country an hour and a half," McGinley said. "It can happen in any country, or city in the world. I thought it was safe, and it didn’t cross my mind.”

So who could have done this?  Hope the finger doesn't point at Patrick Reed given all those revelations abut him in a new sports book.
