Romain Wattel may not have won the Trophee Hassan II on the European Tour but he was the one blowing a big sigh of relief following 60 seconds that first saw him lose €100,000 then win it all over again.

The magic minute came at the par-5 15th hole where Wattel found himself duffing a tough chip for his fourth shot.  He then stood up again and holed his par chip.

Had he taken bogey Wattel would fallen into a tie for third winning approximately €60,000; by staying one shot ahead he finished second and won €166,660.  The minute was effectively worth €100,000.

Well done to Richie Ramsay and caddie Ryan McGuigan who won the event. Super stuff from Ryan with his shoutout to fellow caddie Dave Rennick during his TV moment (video here).
