A spectator was ejected from the Harbour Town Golf Links today after verbally assaulting golfer Patrick Reed during the 2015 RBC Heritage Pro Am.

The man, as yet unnamed, but described as being in his fifties and speaking with a British accent first approached Reed on the second fairway and proceeded to ask him if he wanted "some."

"I told the gentleman that I did not want any of whatever he had" said a clearly shaken Reed after the incident "But he turned up again with a pint of beer on the eighth fairway saying "You got no fans. You want some? You want some? You want some? Coz I'll give it ya."

The man was quickly arrested by Hilton Head police and removed from the property but not before he shouted a warning towards Reed that he would strike again at this year's US Open.  Security at Chamber's Bay has been upgraded as a precaution.

Here's some amateur footage of the suspect.
