I'll leave the actual reporting of what went on at Q-school to the real journalists (well done Daniel Im, Ulrich Van den Berg and Adrian Otaegui who shared top spot) but in the mess of the six round marathon tales of agony and ecstacy emerged.

I was following the progress of loads of guys but especially an Aussie called Daniel Gaunt since I met him at the Irish Open in Killarney years ago.  Dan has a big T2 at the Made in Denmark this year but found himself back at Q-school yesterday.  Well within the top 25 and ties cut off with three holes to go Gaunty took two bogeys to miss out on his full card by one shot. It's a cruel game.

On the flip side of the coin was Paul Dunne who proved his performance at this years Open Championship was no fluke when he cruised to his card.  Dunners is the only member of this year's Walker Cup winning GB&I team to secure his full European Tour playing rights.

You can read Brian Keogh's report here, he was actually there yesterday!

Chin up Gaunty and well done Dunners.
