This video was published two months ago but I only happened across it this morning and I'm glad I did.

It's an experiment conducted at a driving range where unsuspecting golfers are given negative feedback when hitting blue balls and positive encouragement when hitting red balls.  Their shots are scored and performance collated.

The results need to be taken with a pinch of salt but I definitely concur with the finding that self belief, confidence and receiving reassurance improves performance.

Well worth a watch.
