Tim Finchem. Banned "weirdo" for three months.
Chinese golf sensation Li Tang Soo has been banned from competing on both the PGA and European Tours for three months after several complaints about his behaviour in the players lounge at The Players Championship led authorities to investigate.

Staff working in the dining section of the lounge at TPC Sawgrass yesterday became suspicious when Tang Soo, entered the room, apparently without a mobile phone in his hand, ordered coffee, sat down and started staring indiscriminately at other players.

"He just walked in to the lounge over there, he didn't seem to have a mobile phone or tablet or anything," a fellow player said, on condition of anonymity. "He was there like five minutes and wasn't even checking his Facebook, Twitter or Instagram timeline; the guy must be some sort of nut job.  I didn't see it myself but I heard on our WhatsApp group he even walked over  to a couple of the guys who were in the middle of uploading selfie face swap Snapchats and actually tried to start a conversation with them; what a total weirdo."

PGA Tour boss Tim Finchem announced the world number 53 is being banned for a period of three months at a press conference yesterday. "We checked Tang Soo's Facebook and Twitter timeline and saw that he hadn't updated his status since Feb 2015 so he's obviously some sort of psychopath," Finchem said. "We hope he gets the help he needs."

More as it emerges.
