Jeunghun Wang won for the third time in 18 months on the European Tour yesterday after capturing the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters and yet we hardly know him.

The time I caught Wang watching himself win on TV.

Where once KJ Choi and Y.E. Yang were the sole South Korean stalwarts, we now have Wang and the likes of Byeong Hun An, Siwoo Kim, K.T. Kim, Younghan Song and Seung Yul Noh who won on both the European and PGA Tours before having to put golf on hold to serve mandatory time in the military.

European Tour boss Keith Pelley talked in late 2016  about his vision of making the players superstars and household names.  Well here's a 21 year old would be superstar who has won three times already in just 29 European Tour starts and he's still a virtual unknown.

It's almost like when a Korean wins, everyone says "Ah let's not bother." Why is that?

Here are the final round highlights of the Qatar Masters.

Watch out for Wang at Augusta.  He's now in line for an invite for the first Major of the year in April.  Maybe if he wins that we'll get to know him a little better!
