The PGA Tour community have expressed their shock this morning following the news that Grayson Murray was on life support after almost being destroyed on Twitter.

An ambulance rushes from the scene.

Murray, an avid Twitter user, had taken to the social media site earlier this week to suggest "Let's go play over there (in Europe and Asia) and then we will be in every major and WGC event the rest of our lives!" The world number 125 had hoped to ruffle a few feathers but instead found himself on the receiving of one the most vicious and sustained beatings in the history of Twitter.

"We are trying to piece together exactly what happened to Mr Murray," said investigating Officer Steve Caruso. "We suspect he was followed by a number of Asians armed with clubs and was then destroyed by an angry Belgian high on hashtags who showed up with 144 other characters. We are not sure if Mr. Murray was also kidnapped for a period, but he was definitely owned."

Doctors administering the Life Support are hopeful that Murray will be able to return to social media as soon as possible.

“We might try him on Google+ or Snapchat or something else shit like that first,” Dr. Paul Pasternak told GCD. "It could take a while before Mr Murray gets back to Twitter but we are hopeful. As of now there's no timeline."
