Great idea by Ross Walsh on facebook to raise awareness and funds (donate info here) for Jarrod Lyle and his family during the final stages of his illness by asking Titleist to produce the famous Bucket Hat worn by Jarrod, putting them on sale to raise funds, and asking their Tour pros to wear them during the WGC Bridgestone or perhaps at the PGA Championship.

Ross is an Irishman now living in Melbourne, Australia.

He posted his comment on the Titleist Australia & New Zealand Facebook page and received likes responses from Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas (a Titleist Tour Pro) among others but no response from Titleist themselves as yet.

Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry also liked the post.

Obviously if they aren’t Titleist guys they couldn’t wear the hat but if you’ve got Adam Scott, Poults, Justin Thomas and many more wearing it, it will get so much exposure and could raise so much money..

Ross has had a family member and friend succumb to cancer in the past and its a matter close to his heart.

Come on Titleist, can you make this happen?
